Our Amazing Staff
All of our caring staff are fully CPR & First Aid certified and most have continuing education in the childhood development field. We have experienced very low turnover in an otherwise high turnover career. Many of our staff have been with us since 2007.
Our highly trained teachers strive to create a warm and welcoming environment every day and take pride in their creativity while adhering to a curriculum that’s based on weekly thematic units.
Owner/Director: Renee Welch
Renee has almost 20 years of experience in early childhood education, and was a second-grade teacher in New York City. She is mom to two beautiful daughters, who attended Rising Stars from the time they were born.
Assistant Director: Kristi Glenn
Kristi has been with Rising Stars since 2009 and in management since 2012. She is the mother of one, who is currently in the next graduating class of 2018.
